Our Brothers take a vow of poverty and receive no personal income. Your support goes directly toward the life of the Brothers and the missions their life fuels.

When we started, many Brothers worked secular jobs. Today they all serve in ministry. There is no "Plan B" when it comes to their finances.

We are growing at a time when the institutional Church is declining. In 2018 our diocesan partners funded 60% of our operating expenses; as of 2026 they fund 40%.

Each campus outreach and ministry has a separate budget, usually run by a parish or diocese. The Brotherhood trains and provides the Brothers who are available to work in those missions sacrificially – or for no compensation at all.

More than half of our budget is what we call "household" expenses. It probably looks a lot like your household budget – except with more than two dozen guys living in five houses.

The remaining share of our budget covers training new Brothers, running the Brotherhood and ministry activities.

In other words our budget resembles that of a family and a nonprofit rolled into one.

Thank you for your interest in our finances and for your support.
