Brother I know best: I have to name two! Br. Pat and Br. Sam.
Favorite Brotherhood memory: Lord’s Day suppers, with their food, prayer and companionship
How the Brotherhood shaped my life: Previous to college, going all the way back to the 4th grade or so, I did not practice my faith or even go to Mass. The Brotherhood helped build the foundation of my faith. Through the Brotherhood events I learned how to pray and apply my faith to everyday life. I built lasting friendships. Since graduating college, due to my career, I have lived in six states and seen five different countries in the past 11 years. Outside of my wife and kids, my Catholic faith is the one constant. Wherever I go, be it Maine, California, or the island of Crete, my faith remains with me. I am forever grateful to the Brotherhood of Hope for the fruitful soil they provided at Boston University that allowed my faith to take root and continue to grow upon my departure.
